After years working to develop powerful gause to stop bleeding, Singclean Medical is pleased to announce that Surgiclean® Absorbable Haemostat Gause has got CE Mark and will serve more patients.

Surgiclean® Absorbable Haemostat Gause composed of oxidized regenerated cellulose is used to help control the bleeding of capillaries, veins and small arteries when binding, ligation or other traditional methods don’t work. The gause should not be used in neurological surgery, ophthalmic surgery and Urologic surgery.

Bleeding is usually stopped within seconds.

As an absorbable hemostat, Surgiclean® Absorbable Haemostat Gause can rapidly absorb erythrocytes, adhere to platelets, activate the clotting systems and significantly reduce the risk of complications during and after surgery. Absorption by the body will occur in about 1 to 4 weeks. The raw material can also provide surgeons with a better visualization of the surgical site.

The quantity of gause used during surgery is determined according to the bleeding site and the amount of blood lost.
